Push pull tools
for East Africa.
Rovuma gas, inland oil developments and Indian Ocean logistics.
Choose by task.
Plan by destination.
East Africa combines offshore gas projects, inland oil infrastructure and long supply corridors. Distinguish a project’s offshore field from its receiving port, warehouse or inland worksite. Tool mix and delivery planning should follow the actual lifting tasks and receiving arrangements.
Countries in this regional guide
Geographic grouping for navigation; not a statement of local stock, producer status or exclusive distribution.
Key oil, gas & support clusters
These locations provide industry context for evaluating hand-exposure tasks. Project and operator references do not imply an endorsement, approval or PSC supply relationship.
| Country | Cluster / location | Why it is relevant to task assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Mozambique | Rovuma Basin / Area 4; Pemba regional context | Rovuma is a major gas-development area off Mozambique. Plan tool supply for the specific shore-base or project consignee, rather than treating the offshore field as a freight address. Industry source ↗ |
| Tanzania | Mtwara / Madimba; Mnazi Bay; Songo Songo | Gas infrastructure connects southern producing locations with the Mtwara–Dar es Salaam corridor. Equipment maintenance and pipe-handling work require task-specific contact control. Industry source ↗ |
| Uganda | Albertine development area: Buliisa, Nwoya, Kikuube / Hoima | Tilenga and Kingfisher are distinct oil developments with inland delivery requirements. Confirm the receiving site and onward transport for project procurement. Industry source ↗ |
| Kenya | South Lokichar / Turkana; Mombasa logistics gateway | Kenyan petroleum development and equipment logistics connect inland Turkana with coastal receiving infrastructure. Scope guidance tools around the handling operation. Industry source ↗ |
Where hands need distance.
Project construction and pipe handling
Identify the contact surface and assess tools for positioning components already supported by approved lifting equipment. Do not use a guidance pole as a pipe lifter.
Coastal-to-inland supply
Quote the receiving location and final worksite separately. Share required dates early where onward road delivery or project consolidation is involved.
LNG and marine support
Balance working distance with restricted deck access. Taglines may control orientation at a distance while a suitable pole supports planned close guidance.
Three colours.
Task-based length selection.

Choose a tool length that provides the assessed standoff distance without compromising control. Confirm the head, insert and full assembly against the working surface and environment. RiggerSafe is not lifting equipment and must not be used to lift, suspend, support, pry, lever or arrest a load.
Give procurement
a clear specification.
Send your company, country, receiving address and required date, followed by colours, lengths, inserts and quantities. Add task photographs where your site permits.
Confirm before placing the order
Ask for availability, dispatch timing, delivery terms, packing dimensions and freight. Identify the importer and any onward movement from port or airport to the final site.
No universal landed price or delivery promise is stated here. PSC confirms each enquiry against its destination and requirements.
Prepare a regional enquiry ↗East Africa: before you specify.
Does East Africa include Mozambique in this guide?
Yes. The website uses geographic regional groupings, placing Mozambique with East Africa. Commercial procurement networks may group it differently.
Can you quote for Uganda or Kenya projects?
Yes. Provide the site, receiving address, configuration, quantity and required date. PSC will confirm supply and freight terms for the enquiry.
Are all listed countries oil and gas producers?
No. Countries are grouped for enquiry navigation. Some markets are relevant through ports, fabrication, mining, power, construction or industrial maintenance.
