RiggerSafe® / Regional application guide

Push pull tools
for North Africa.

Desert field services, Mediterranean gas and coastal processing hubs.

Understand the operating context

Choose by task.
Plan by destination.

North African tool enquiries may originate from desert facilities, coastal gas-processing operations or fabrication contractors serving the energy sector. Working space, approach distance and the condition of the load contact surface matter more than the country label when choosing a pole.

01 / APPLICATION ASSESSMENT

Desert maintenance lifts

Assess dust, abrasion, temperature and the full assembly’s suitability. Do not infer electrical insulation or heat resistance from fibreglass construction alone.

02 / APPLICATION ASSESSMENT

Coastal gas and LNG equipment

Select a manageable working length for spools and plant components. The load remains supported by the hoist or crane throughout guidance.

03 / APPLICATION ASSESSMENT

Inland project delivery

Include the port or airport consignee and final inland destination. Clarify which party arranges onward transport and import clearance.

Product selection

Three colours.
Task-based length selection.

Choose a tool length that provides the assessed standoff distance without compromising control. Confirm the head, insert and full assembly against the working surface and environment. RiggerSafe is not lifting equipment and must not be used to lift, suspend, support, pry, lever or arrest a load.

Export enquiry checklist

Give procurement
a clear specification.

Send your company, country, receiving address and required date, followed by colours, lengths, inserts and quantities. Add task photographs where your site permits.

Confirm before placing the order

Ask for availability, dispatch timing, delivery terms, packing dimensions and freight. Identify the importer and any onward movement from port or airport to the final site.

No universal landed price or delivery promise is stated here. PSC confirms each enquiry against its destination and requirements.

Practical answers

North Africa: before you specify.

Which North African energy clusters are covered?

The guide highlights Algeria’s inland and coastal network, Egypt’s Port Said and Damietta gas locations and Libya’s basin and Mellitah infrastructure. Other industrial enquiries are welcome.

Is a longer pole always the safer choice?

No. Select a length that creates the assessed separation while allowing effective control and a clear escape route within the available space.

Can the tool replace certified lifting accessories?

No. RiggerSafe is a guidance and positioning tool. Slings, shackles and the lifting system continue to bear the load.
